The football community has received confirmation regarding the next chapter of Victor Moses’ career. After months of speculation following his departure from English football, the former Nigerian international has officially signed with FC Kaysar Kyzylorda in the Kazakhstan Premier League.

On January 24, 2026, the Kyzylorda-based club, affectionately known as “The Wolves,” announced the acquisition of the 35-year-old winger. Moses joins the side on a one-year contract as a free agent. This move marks the 11th professional club for the versatile player, who will wear the number 11 jersey for the upcoming 2026 season.

The club’s management expressed optimism regarding the signing, stating on their official platforms:

“Victor Moses is a player widely recognized for his experience at several top European clubs. His arrival is a clear indication of our ambitions for the new season.”

Victor Moses has been without a competitive home since May 2025, when he was released by English side Luton Town following a short-term stint. Before his return to England, Moses spent three years in Russia with Spartak Moscow (2021–2024).

For FC Kaysar, a team that finished 11th in the 2025 season, the arrival of a player of Moses’ caliber is unprecedented. The local community in Kyzylorda has already shown significant warmth; Moses was seen at the Gani Muratbayev Stadium over the weekend, engaging with fans and signing autographs on the pitch.

While some analysts have viewed the move to the Kazakh league as unexpected, the player’s camp suggests this is a deliberate choice to provide veteran leadership in a developing football region. For the fans in Kyzylorda, the presence of a Premier League winner brings a renewed sense of hope for the club’s domestic aspirations.
