Tony Elumelu took to Facebook to show-off the UBA new leadership and strength of the UBA Group.

“At UBA Group, we keep learning, strategizing and executing.

Last weekend, board members met with the new leadership of UBA Group, including Regional CEOs from across the four continents – Africa, America, Europe and Asia – that UBA operates in, at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja. We mapped the future of Africa’s Global Bank, refined our objectives and set even bolder targets.

At UBA, we are so proud of our human capital – the quality of people we grow and the strength of our bench, our talent is thriving! As we listened to the vision and aspirations of our newly appointed executives… and others, the Board and I could not have been more excited by these new appointments.

It wasn’t just strategy, we saw implementation. In Abuja, the GMD of UBA, Oliver Alawuba also led the commissioning of the new UBA Digital Experience Centre at the Transcorp Hilton Abuja. Another example of UBA revolutionising self-service and customer experience in the banking industry. We know we must prioritise our customers’ experience, this was another step in that journey.

We move into this new phase of UBA, deeply confident in our leaders, our services, and our products.
