Lagos State Government Begins Launch Bog MICH Post Natal

The Office of the Civic Engagement under the Lagos State Government in partnership with Alaro City has launched the post natal presentation of food packs to nursing mothers in the state.

The launch which kicked off in the Epe division of the state had over 50 beneficiaries from the ante- natal scheme anchored by the SSA to thr governor on civic engagement Princess Aderemi Adebowale ably represented by the Director public affairs civic engagement Mrs Olatokunbo Omobolanle Dawodu.

In her remark, the Mrs Dawodu admonished the beneficiaries of this scheme to make good use of this opportunity by following the prescription.

Stating further, she said the program being launched today is part of the THEMES agenda imitated by his excellency governor of Lagos state, Mr Babajide Sanwolu .

The SSA also used the opportunity to thank Alaro city one of the partners of the scheme while calling on others private companies to emulate them.

In his own remark, the host chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, the Council Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government hailed the initiative of the Lagos State Government and Alaro City for the laudable programme.

Appreciating the laudable gesture, one of the recipients of thr park, Mrs Tolulope Adebisi, thanked the Lagos state government for this wonderful program saying it is a life changing experience.

According to Mrs Tolulope, the pack given to them during the ante-natal stage really helped them through pregnancy stage and she has no doubt it will help the their children through their development.

Speaking at the launch, a representative of Alaro City one of the key sponsors of the program urged the mothers to make judicious of the pack given while encouraging the state government to continue this laudable project aimed at making the society a better place.
