The Lagos State Police Command has officially declared Alhaji Ahmed Akanbi Tajudeen, CEO and Managing Director of Amrock (also identified in official police documents as HAMTAJAK & HALROMALK), wanted in connection with the gruesome murders of Sheriff Salami Ishola and Prince Demola (Ademola) Akinloye two separate but allegedly linked killings that sent shockwaves through the Ajiran community in Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos State.
The declaration was made public by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, at a press conference on Thursday, February 20, 2026, following the arrest of two prime suspects and the re-opening of cases that had gone cold for months.
The first victim, Sheriff Salami Ishola, 37, was ambushed and killed on April 18, 2023, at approximately 3:00 p.m. in Moba Town, Eti-Osa, Lagos State. According to CP Jimoh, armed suspects — identified as Safiu Fatai (alias Fabo), Yusuf Ismaila (alias Bariga), Soji Mascot, and one Kenny accosted Ishola, dragged him into an isolated building along Mobile Road, Moba, Ajah, where he was held down and shot multiple times. He died on the spot.
The second victim, Prince Ademola Akinloye, 38, son of Oba Adetunji Akinloye, the revered Ojomu of Ajiran Land, met a similarly brutal end on August 26, 2024, at approximately 11:00 a.m. along Chevron Road, Ajiran, Eti-Osa LGA. The prince was shot multiple times in broad daylight by the same gang, using an identical modus operandi. He died as a result of the attack.
The killings, carried out months apart, are now believed to have been orchestrated by the same individual, Alhaji Ahmed Akanbi Tajudeen.

Two principal suspects — Safiu Fatai, 40, and Yusuf Ismaila — were arrested on January 24 and February 6, 2026, respectively, after the cases were reopened following fresh intelligence and persistent public petitions, including from the Ojomu Royal Family of Ajiran.
During interrogation, both men reportedly confessed to their roles in the killings and implicated Akanbi as the mastermind and financier of the operations. According to CP Jimoh, the suspects stated that Akanbi hired them to carry out the murders, paying a total of ₦2 million — with ₦500,000 disbursed to each principal actor three days after the first killing. The suspects were also allegedly promised additional rewards, including opportunities to travel abroad and promises of social advancement.
“They confessed to receiving ₦2 million for the first killing, paid in installments, and were promised additional benefits, including assistance to travel abroad,” CP Jimoh stated.
Akanbi, 38, is identified in police records as the Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director of HAMTAJAK & HALROMALK (also referenced in some police communications as Amrock), based in Ajiran, Eti-Osa LGA, Lagos State. His last known address is listed as Victoria Bay (Gate One), Royal Pine Estate, Orchid Road, Ikota, Lekki, Eti-Osa LGA, Lagos State.
The Ajiran community had previously, through petitions, accused Akanbi of being the force behind the two murders. Police sources confirmed that Akanbi was invited for questioning on multiple occasions but failed to appear, prompting the formal declaration.
Alongside Akanbi, the Commissioner of Police also declared the following individuals wanted in connection with the double murder case:
- Soji Mascot — at large
- Kenny — at large
- Bode — at large
CP Jimoh urged Alhaji Ahmed Akanbi Tajudeen to surrender himself to the nearest police station immediately, warning that the weight of evidence against him is substantial. He also called on members of the public within Lagos State, across Nigeria, and internationally to report the whereabouts of any declared wanted person to the nearest police station or through the Lagos State Police emergency distress lines.
“Wherever he may be, he is advised to surrender to the nearest police station. Members of the public who see him should promptly report to the police,” CP Jimoh stated firmly.
The Ojomu Royal Family of Ajiran Land issued a public statement expressing support for the ongoing investigation. Signed by Oba Tijani Adetunji Akinloye and Alhaji Yekini Olawale Bakare, the family stated that the investigation was critical to ensuring that “murderers do not roam freely in our kingdom and that the subjects of our kingdom can live their lives without fear.”
The family called on all well-meaning citizens to cooperate with law enforcement and ensure that justice is delivered for the victims and their loved ones.
As of the time of filing this report, nine suspects in total have been arrested in connection with the Ajiran murder cases. Seven additional suspects were apprehended on February 10, 2026, by the command’s tactical squad, following intelligence gathering. The Lagos State Police Command has assured the public that the investigations are proceeding swiftly and that all parties responsible will be brought to justice.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Alhaji Ahmed Akanbi Tajudeen, Soji Mascot, Kenny, or Bode is urged to contact the Lagos State Police Command or the nearest police station immediately.
